We offer nurturing, residential caregiving services in a home-like environment.
Securing the ongoing assistance of an Alzheimer’s caregiver for your loved one who is caring, capable, and knowledgeable may feel like an impossible task at times. You may also feel obligated to care for your loved on your own, but feel you lack the resources, support, and training to maintain your loved one’s quality of life and dignity as they struggle with the symptoms and effects of Alzheimer’s or dementia.
Instead of trying to locate an Alzheimer’s caregiver on your own, at The Almost Home Group, we encourage you to consider our unique approach to dementia care. We run three patient-centric homes in the Piedmont Triad, North Carolina area that feature a loving, comfortable environment while also providing the necessary rehabilitation, medical, and basic care tasks your loved one needs to thrive on an ongoing basis.
Our caregiving staff consists of a contracted medical doctor, a part-time registered nurse, 30 full-time and part-time Certified Nursing Aides, two full-time NCCAP Certified Activity Professionals, and a visiting therapy dog, Emma. All of our staff members are dementia trained and devoted to providing supportive, effective care in a familiar, non-clinical environment.
Each Alzheimer’s caregiver on our team also believes constant activities promote the ongoing physical wellness, mental health, and happiness of our residents, so we strive to constantly provide an enriching, stimulating setting. If you would like to see one of our patient homes in person or have questions about our unique approach to Alzheimer’s care, contact us at The Almost Home Group today.
