There is no denying that being the caregiver for a loved one is the hardest job you’ll ever have. There is also no dishonor in reaching a point where you recognize that you need help. In fact, if you are fearful your loved one needs an around-the-clock caregiver for their safety, you are doing the best thing for them when you consider moving them to a place where they can get that. Here at The Almost Home Group, we understand that you want the best for your loved one and they deserve the same type of environment they have been enjoying in their own home or yours.
Our three caregiving facilities in the Greensboro, North Carolina area are residential homes. The only difference is that they’ll share that home with two to five other residents and trained professionals will provide caregiving services that are customized to their level of needed assistance. We always encourage as much independence as feasible, so your loved one feels at home and respected for optimal quality of life.
A private home with a caregiver and other staff members present and available means your loved one will feel comfortable and make the transition easily. We can even accommodate married couples if you have parents who want to stay together. We believe in making our residents comfortable, and that means keeping things as normal as possible, including being allowed to bring a small pet with them.
